John Lynch is President and Certified Auctioneer/Appraiser of Amity Auction Galleries, Inc., Long Island’s Leading Auction Gallery of antiques and personal property. Mr. Lynch has been conducting auctions for over 31 years. Mr. Lynch is a licensed Real Estate professional and Certified Auctioneer for Amity Auction Realty. Mr. Lynch has been selling real estate via private treaty and the Auction Method of Marketing for over 15 years.

John is a 1975 graduate of Reisch Auction College in Mason City, Iowa, a 1995 graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute’s 3 year program at the University of Indiana. This is where the designation of “CAI” was earned. As a CAI Auctioneer, Mr. Lynch handles the auction sales of Real Estate, Antiques, Fine Arts, Estates, Business Liquidations and Bankruptcy Auctions. John is a 1997 graduate of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA). As a Certified Appraiser, Mr. Lynch handles all forms of personal property appraisals to include antiques and fine arts, and is committed to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

Mr. Lynch is Past President of the New York State Auctioneers Association and is currently its Treasurer. He is the 1995 NYSAA Bid Calling Champion and was selected as 1995 “Auctioneer of the Year” and in 2005 was selected into the NYSAA “Hall of Fame” where he was awarded.. John is a past member of the New York City Auctioneers Association where he awarded the 1993 Champion Auctioneer Award and 1997 “Auctioneer of the Year”. He is also an active member of the National Auctioneers Association.

As a Real Estate Professional, Mr. Lynch has been approved by the Department of State as a Technical Instructor to lecture on the “Auction Method of Marketing” Real Estate. He has lectured for the American Real Estate School, Long Island Board of Realtors, Orange County Board of Realtors and the Westchester County Board of Realtors. Mr. Lynch has been the auctioneer bid assistant in the selling of more than 1000 properties for various private sellers, financial institutions, FDIC, HUD and RTC handling all aspects from marketing, conducting the auction as auctioneer and follow through to closing.

Mr. Lynch is a member of the New England Appraisers Association and the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Amityville.

Steve and Debbie Kutner are Long Island’s only husband-wife team of certified real estate auctioneers and in addition; are certified in real estate auction marketing. They are both graduates of Continental Auctioneers School in Mankato, MN. Continental attracts students from around the world and is well known for teaching the skills needed to execute a successful real estate auction. Steve and Debbie also hold NY State real estate licenses and are members of the National Association of Realtors and the Long Island Board of Realtors.

Steve has extensive marketing experience and holds a B.S. in Marketing from NY Institute of Technology in Old Westbury. He was founder and president of a large computer supply corporation that employed over eighty people right here on Long Island.

Debbie has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Adelphi University in Garden City. She has worked with children and parents for over twenty years; this has given her excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with people.

Both Steve and Debbie are multi-property owners and understand what it takes to buy and sell real estate. In addition, they have held real estate seminars and firmly believe that now is the time for real estate auctions on Long Island.
